Bareilly College is located in Kali Bari location in Bareilly,Uttar Pradesh, India. It is the region's oldest and most distinguished & prestigious college.

 

 History and Establishment: Bareilly College was established in 1837 by the British government during the colonial era as a government college in 1837 along with 57 students under Mr Rogers. It was initially founded as a school and later evolved into a college. The college played a pivotal role in imparting education and fostering intellectual growth in the region during British rule. College is spread over 52 acre of land of Rampur Nawab.

Affiliation: The college is affiliated with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), which is a public university in Bareilly. The university is responsible for overseeing the academic programs, examinations, and other administrative aspects of the college. Before the affiliation with M.J.P Rohilkhand University Bareilly it was affiliated with Agra & Allahabad University

Recently on 17 July 2023  college celebrate its 186 foundation day.
