IZZATNAGAR

It is situated in East direction in area known as Joginavada.
The temple was established in Dvapara Yuga.
Rani Draupati establish a Shivling here as per the order of her Guru.Due to the dense forest this temple is known as Vankhandi Nath.
In this temple their is a pond known as Ganga Sagar in which 108 Shivling are placed.It is believed that people suffering from Rickets /Sukha disease take bath in this pond and get rid of it .
Dhopeshwar Nath Temple
In the South direction of Bareilly Dhopeshwar Nath mandir is situated. This tample is located in the Sadar Bazar of Bareilly.
It is believed that this place is a birth place of Draupati of Mahabharath Yuga.
In Treta Yug, Dhumra Rishi,who was the discipline of Atri Rishi, Guru of Pandavas meditated here .As a result of his meditation ,Lord Shiva appeared before him and told him ask for any wish to which Dhumra Rishi replied that I want you to be established here and do welfare of your devotees .Then Lord Shiva established himself in the form of Shiveling.The Shiivling established here in thousands of year old .
In this temple their is pond which make this temple too attractive.
Saint Alakhiya used to penance below a Banyan Tree. Baba worshiped Lord Shiva and attained enlightenment at this sacred site.It was after him, temple was named as Alakhnath Temple .A 51 Feet Statue of Lord Hanuman is installed just outside the Temple Premises. The history of alaknath temple is older than 6500 yeras. This temple is situated in 84 bighas of land.In Mughal Era ,Baba alakhiya was sent to Bareilly by Anand Akhara to protect Vedic religion due to frequent attack by enemy rulers. He established a Shivlinga here after severe penance. Enemy rulers could not spoil this divine Shivling even after many attempts This temple was named Alakhnath only after the name of Baba Alakhia.
The temple is the worship place of Naga sannyasins.
